Good game though, congrats!
If I have one criticism, I felt the movement to be a little sensitive, but otherwise this game was great.
Back to the point, I love your game! The mechanic feels fresh and is the perfect metaphor for capitalism. You have to wait for the right time to make your investment to maximize profit.
The messages between levels were hilarious: "You did a detestable morally wrong thing. Yay!" Graphics are simple but work really well, the soundtrack is simply incredible, sound effects for coins are cool, too. The only thing that could use improvement are the physics, especially jumps are a little hard to control. But apart from that, a truly great entry!
The word-candy at the end of each level added to the mood so much, I loved it!
I'm glad that you added the coin mechanic to an otherwise bland platformer genre.
The level design was spot on...
Furthermore, good concept, was fun to play :)
The mechanic is fun and straight-ward and well used in the level.
The coins stacking feels great.
And the end just killed me.
Seriously this is great!!!
Sometimes it was really difficult to get on to a platform you were next to cause the character would start moving too fast - I think this could be overcome if the character had acceleration when starting off as opposed to just always being full speed.
I also loved how the coin pile bounced up and down as you did - that was a really cool effect!
you should upload it to itch.io so that more people will get to discover it by using their app !!!!!
Jazzy!
Absolutely enjoyable entry
I loved the puzzles they were really clever made but not unfair.
You really know something about level design.
The pixel art is minimalistic but well done.
The Backgroundmusic
is very nice and I love the satisfying coin FX
Great job!
The controls were kind of unresponsive and weird (I guess is how I would describe them), which made platforming difficult.
Anyways, I really liked the SFX and music. And neat concept too! Good work!
While I really enjoyed playing it would be nice to be able to jump just after the edge (like in Super Mario). Otherwise it is really difficult to make some jumps: too early and you hit the the ceiling, too late and you fall down. With being able to jump for a very short time after you walked off a platform it is far easier to make those difficult jumps and I don't think the game would lack because of the reduced difficulty. Another thing is that it is hard to stop precisely. If you have to hit a button on the ceiling and there are lower blocks to the left and right it was quite hard to stop at the correct spot to jump and hit the button.
But again, the game is really cool.

edit: ok upon a further listen i realized i really love the music a lot! do you think i could an mp3 download of it? thanks!
The only thing bothering me is that part where I have to align the coins with the button. As I move left and right, he keep switching side for the coins and they never align, so I feel there the controls are a bit too fast.
Other than that, great solid entry!
I did also have the same issue as @beebo-studios when I started playing, and I discovered that it was because I had controllers plugged in; the game recognised both the Xbox 360 and PS4 controller, but didn't really know what to do with them, so the character would end up walking constantly in one direction. Not quite sure why the character was frozen in place at the start of the game as a result of this, but unplugging the controllers fixed the issue.
I really like the aesthetics and music of the game, and the overall concept is on point! Super challenging though!
The comments at the end of each level were funny too.
Very, very good!
Everything was spot on, the pumping music, the graphics and animation and even the end level humor. You even managed to get a proper and touching ending.
The only thing I would change is to make the character have a bit less inertia so it would be easier to stop, but is is plainly nitpicking.
Superb job, this is my favourite compo entry so far. Congratulations!
Congratulations! awesome game.
Jumping felt BIT SLIPPERY SOMETIMES; BUT OTHERWISE; WELL DONE:
I was a bit worried that the level designs would get sub-par at some point, but you executed very well! Although some of the levels were harder than others (and not necessarily in order), they were each very well contained and snappy enough to avoid becoming tedious or overly complex. Great job!
The snappy music fits the gameplay as well, and although the window size was a bit small, I think that was the right decision as it lends itself to the puzzley levels. I didn't have any issues with the physics or jumping in the game; some jumps were trickier than others but nothing too bad, honestly. The animation of the stack of coins is great too.
One nitpick: would have been nice to have a proper pixel-based font, but that's pretty minor.
edit: Ok I found the problem. After detaching my XBox controller it worked fine. I like the game a lot. The idea was very cool and the gameplay and the puzzles were very well made. Like others said, the controls could have been a bit more polished, but that's not a big problem. Cool Game!
Man, it is a super game, and it is very cool that you did it for compo)
Your idea, jokes, gameplay, level design, soundtrack - everything unites in a great little project :)
Only one little moment - it was a bit uncomfortable to control the character, looks like he "slides" a litlle bit. But anyway even this was easy to get used to.
I love your work)
I passed the game and listened to soundtrack on the end screen for a few minutes writing this comment)
Thanks for the game!)
For me - your game is a compo winner :)
ps. sorry for my bad english
