Basket BOOM by hifire

In Basket BOOM, your objective is to platform your way to score a point!
To score, you must first grab the ball and then carry it to the basket. After that, the character must reach the flag to win.
Controls: A&D: Move character
Space/W: Jump
LCtrl/F: Throw the ball

The game is incomplete. There are physics bugs and the window closes when you win. You can, however, modify the level by editing the map file at Assets/Levels if you wish to experiment with different layouts.
This Ludum Dare I challenged myself to make a game in SDL2 and, as expected, things didn't turn out that well. I had a lot of fun, however, revisiting SDL after so much time with Unity was surely a great experience!

The simplicity of the content in the game indeed allows the player to explore alternative and creative ways of gameplay, I found myself trying to do stupid points from outside the map throwing the ball just for fun haha!
Besides that, there are a lot of things that could and should be improved, first of them being the physics itself - the jumps do not make much sense, the player often gets flicked on the wall and the friction is a bit strange. The controls could also be improved, allowing the player to have more control over the throws and bombs displacement.
Overall it is a solid entry, Keep up the good work!
