Sacrifice your villagers for the gods.

"The Gods Are Watching" is a neat little game in wich you lead a small Maya village.

You have to sacrifice people to keep the mood of the gods as high as possible. You also need to sacrifice some to be able to build stuff, but be careful. Meteroids, floods, wars and death can endanger your plans.

The goal is to survive as long as possible. When you lean up against your folks or the gods, you fail and die.

I would call it a demo rather than a game but nevertheless I spent around 10 minutes trying to figure it out so not bad at all. Good work!

Fun little sandbox. Wasn't sure what I was doing the first time and lost, so I read the instructions. Once I understood what everything was doing it was much easier. Good use of theme, sacrifices as currency, and it's quite nice looking, almost like an animated board game with little meeples running around

I really like this entry. It's looks very pretty and is easy to grasp yet somewhat more challenging to master. My village is thriving while I write this - just gone on 215 inhabitants haha. I did notice that the help screen neglects to show that the Receivers are the yellow squares, so maybe just include that on the game's page. Otherwise, a good entry :)

Nice entry but a little hard to understand. The help page is good but it would have been great to have some tips on the game UI.
Overall nice one for a compo ;)
