Cardthulhu by TeamCardthulhu
"Cardthulhu" is a Cthulhu based Card Game in which your Investigator shifts further into madness with every turn.
** Controls **
Use the left mouse button to play cards and the right mouse button to investigate them. You can move the camera with the arrow keys and zoom with your mouse wheel
You need to collect attack tokens to be able to defeat the endless hordes of Horror streaming towards you. But always remember that your attack tokens vanish after each turn.

Great art in the game definitely seems like a lot effort was put into it and the ominous music definitely adds to the feel of the game.
Well done.
Nice look and feel, I'm not very into c'thulhu things, but the overall feeling is incredible (the tentacles are creepy as hell).
Some thoughts:
The End Turn trigger or however is done is too damn big. When the enemies on the other side accumulate, I can't kill the ones in the left, because I accidentally click End Turn.
Too much RNG. And this is because the cultist are WAY too broken. There are not enough blue sources for you to kill them all. Especially if they are given the chance to grow. 4 cultist butchering you, and with only two sources of blue, there is little to nothing you can do about it.
I have enjoyed the game A LOT, I've played tons of games and I really want to play more, so... let us know if you patch it up, or if you keep on improving the game.
Cheers! :)
I almost quitted at first, becouse of the overly complex texts ( why not just "draw a card" ) and lack of guidance. I'm glad I didnt tho.
Cheers
Markus
Sadly we also didn't have time to add all the cool insanity effects we had planned, which would have made it more in tune with the "shapeshift" theme, changing the look of the cards and game board as you drift further into madness. I can't speak for the whole team, but I'd love to continue development and add all the cool stuff we had planned later on. :)
@teamross: What resolution did you use? I'll try to test some more resolutions so things should look good in any window size after the next patch.. we just didn't have any time for testing after adding the gui elements, we added them like 5 minutes before the upload, haha...
@Ogniok: The "secretish" secret is hoping for a good deck, haha. Currently your deck and the enemy deck are determined by chance, certain cards have a higher chance to be shuffled into your deck than others. Sometimes this can result in having tons of Alcohol on your hand but nothing to heal health or defeat enemies with. I played a couple of test games today and some were brutal, while others where laughably easy. We definitely have some balancing to do there.
@Fabraz: Our programmers used Zenject as their Depency Injection Library, but everything else code, art, music/sound and design wise was made from scratch. We didn't sleep much. :) But yeah, sadly all the features that would have made it more in tune with the theme didn't make the cut, but as I said, I hope we can add at least some of it later on!
Hope you all enjoy the game and thanks for playing! :)
Awesome result for a 3 day jam.
Also its kinda funny you can just zoom in & out infinitely. Looking forward to post jam versions. It'd awesome if you could leave me a message on my page if you make a way to follow potential dev of this game. Thanks :)
