I like that you spend your hitpoints on upgrades but not really a fan of not being able to regain the healthpoints in any way. Ranged attacks felt a little OP and I wasnt always sure if I was getting hit or not.

Good job overall!

@malarpuppet Not being able to regain HP is the purpose of the game, so you need to choose, but we'll take it into consideration if we contnue development. And yes the ranged weapon is a bit over powered. Maybe we will nerf it in future versions. But thanks for playing and the feedback

Nice game, well made. Its realy fun to play and a nice ingterpretation of the theme. The only thing I realy wish is a little feedback, if a hit an enemy or if i don't.

Very direct interpretation of the theme but on point. Like the Pixel-Art, solide overall.

Nice art, good music and sound, decently fun gameplay. Great job! I wish that you got a little more feedback during combat because it was hard to judge if you hit/got hit. Some feedback on cooldowns would be appreciated as well. I was able to cheese the boss as part of the arena had a deadzone and he didn't shoot back. Overall solid entry.

@majadroid Thanks for the feedback, we would have made a screen shake when you hit an enemy, but time were running low @excelidar Thanks you very much! @b33thr33 Thanks! @gronther as said we would have implemented screenshake when you hit enemies, and we have seen that the boos can be cheesed, but thanks you very much for the feedback

I can't say much bad about this game, i like it a lot, - The only thing i like to stress about it to make controls that work for non qwerty people (there are many out there) - WASD doesn't work on foreign keyboards!

For the rest, great game, great mood, lovely graphics, plays smooth.
Excellent job!

Yeah i actually thought about makind the other keyboard layouts, but that thought drifted away in the development. But thanks for the feedback.

Well my game experience was a bit ruined because french keyboards controls is not supported haha, but I managed to go to the 3rd level, after the green stone. The only thing I'd say is that it is pretty hard to know where you hit someone, where you get hit, there's a lack of feedbacks about that, and sometimes, when enemies or enemy bullets explode, I did not know if it was me who destroyed it or if the explosion just hit me. Also the game is a bit slow in my opinion (it is not slow, but I mean it could be a bit faster for more fun).

About the graphics, I'm not sure if I like the heart's face but it made me laugh how he looks like this : :smirk: The environment is great tho! At some places there were areas that looked like walkable areas but there was colliders, otherwise I got nothing to say about it. Audio and music were great too, and the game fits the theme prety well, so that is a great entry!

@saering Yea we thinked about making the other keyboard supports but that idea got lost in all the things we wanted. And we wanted to make screenshake when you hit enemies, but time were running low. But thanks you very much for the feedback.

Lacks some damage feedback at the start, where you don't know if you did anything. Not sure if you can always dodge the projectiles, some spaces are tight. But you got the theme right with using life to purchase upgrades.
I liked the environment art and audio.

Good artdesign
I'm buy range attack, and game say me "use Left click" for attack, but it worked if i use Right click

@ludwici Hmm, that sounds strange, when you left click you "melee" and on right click you shoot. Have you changed input settings or something like that?
