Arcanium was a righteous god

Until the day the inhabitants of this world instigated his wrath

Everything had been devoured by the seas, it was too late,

Our last sanctuary is Tilil, a small island, what remains of the world.

We count on you, my lord. Let us build a new home and survive in the best way possible until.... as long as we can deal with the wrath of Arcanium....

We are counting on you.

I love the music! Created a lot of atmosphere. I like the way the pieces sink into the water, too. Pretty good little game!

Atmosphere and mood are excellent, helped by some great music. I was lucky to win thanks to my (somehow) -1650 wood count. Wasn't sure how to make more buildings once the island was full/flooded. It really had me thinking -- well done! :ocean:

Really good idea. Strategy games are really hard to make and finish completely on a jam, but you managed to do it. The covert art is beautiful also!

Nice mix of strategy plus resources control. The gameplay is really good despite is not really hard to win. That's normal because is hard to equilibrate it and even worse in only two days. The music fits really nice and makes it a great experience to enjoy. Congrats!

Great game! Solid mix of strategy and resource control. However I wish there were some little animations here and there. But don't worry the gameplay mechanics were solid. Great job!

Nice artwork and music, the sawing sound effect got a little repetitive though. The game mechanics work nicely, maybe and indicator why I can't build something would help because I sometimes found myself lost as to why I couldn't do what I wanted to. In case of completely flooded land I expected to recover it by raising it twice, but it wouldn't let me without telling me why. All in all, a solid entry :)

Liked the artwork, and the ambient soundscape. Got a moment to realize how to generate gold per turn, but ran into a bug - I lost 200 gold every turn? Could maybe use a bit of fine tuning the balance, but otherwise: Good job!

A good game. The mechanics were intuitive and the game did a good job of keeping you scared you were all going to drown without making it impossible to win. The story felt a little unnecessary and didn't mesh well with the gameplay in my opinion, but the gameplay and art held together well.

Nice art and great music that maintains the attention in our little civilization .. before the water destroy it

All the game is balanced and very polished.

Nice music, I liked the idea of the game, dynamics were easy to learn (I did not read the instructions :P).
I did not like too much sprites (towns, cities, etc), but the rest of the graphics are good.

Very interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/2umBRLlsy2g), if you’d like to take a look :)

Wow! Amazing entry, dude.

I instantly remembered the boardgame Forbidden Island (only because of the sinking tiles). This is a very cool idea and I think you should keep working on it. The music sets the mood perfectly and art is very fitting. I think it needs a little bit more of balancing and little more polish on presentation (texts), but this is just nitpicking. Great job!

Abraços brasileiros :)

This is incredible, you have made so many features and such a complex game in 32 hours. It was a lot of fun to try and keep my little city alive, you grow attached to things that you get to design yourself. It was well balanced although it took me a bit of time before I understood what to do, the text tutorial was a bit rough to get through. Visually very nice looking game as well :)

Awesome job!

Very cool strategic game. It was so close in the end (almost got flooded). Enjoy it a lot!

An interesting strategy game! Here’s the quick rundown of my thoughts:

PROS
- Interesting premise for game
- Challenging and needs strategy

CONS
- Seems a little difficult, and game turns out to be more like a puzzle game with a single good solution
- Some things are vague and could use more explaining
