She wanted to read.

She shouldn't read, but because of the illness, she started to love books. She learned to read. While reading, she can imagine things and touch them. And with every new imagined scene she becomes more secluded. Maybe... Maybe she imagined this room too?

The art, audio, and atmosphere are all super impressive. It plays a bit like a short story. Unfortunately it seems that she doesn't have many happy dreams :(
Theme wise, I didn't see it as it getting worse as the more she reads instead things were actually kinda pretty which actually made things better lol. I like where this was going though
It was somewhat slow-pacing, but the story was well set. I also loved the character and movement - impressive work for 72 hours jam.
The gameplay is simplistic, but most of the work was done in the animations, so that's understandable.
only the start was a bit strange because I didn't knew what to do and the movement felt a bit mushy.
I'll join what's been said above, it could have been a little closer to apreciate the details more. Also had to lower the resolution because the text was too small (on a TV so I was quite far!)
Congrats on creating a great mood.
I love how the camera continues to zoom in on her past the story beat, suggesting the worst but never quite getting there.
I don't really want to forget.
The only problem i have with this game is the lack of cohesive story about our main character. Who she is? What kind of illness she has? But maybe i just don't get it, and all of the little tales she was reading were telling me some sort of a story about our heroine and the world she lives in.
Sound design! I never have time for him. You did it excellently! Here, it creates half the mood in the game.
All together, this creates a magnificent and polished game.
P.S. Add help for controls. I understood that I need to press the space after reading the comments.
