Everyone has very limited amount of places that he or she visits during a day. This collection of places creates his/her own small world. Little Italy is not innovative, not visually gorgeus but tells a story about taxy driver in some generalized town district. In this district our main hero(driver) helps people with moving to another place.

Main goal - earn as much points as you can during limited amount of time. Points could be earned after completed trips. Arrow will lead you to next waypoint.

Oh this game made me so happy. The best part of this game is the super simple idea, but also graphics is fine, and the selected music is perfect for this game. Overall a very fun game, where the only real problem is that it is too short. Well done.

Remember to bake the lightmap.

Could be due to my oldish PC, but the game was somewhat lagging.

I really liked the music it really adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. I wish the handbrake made some sort of screeching noise so that I knew it was engaged. Also I wish the objectives were on the mini map. Otherwise I had a great time trying to optimize my driving skills. I had a bunch of hilarious wipeouts. Customers are fine to jump in whether I am driving or somersaulting by :)

This was great fun to play! The driving felt really nice. The concept of being a taxi driver in Little Italy felt cool and thematic. If you polished the hell out of and put it on steam i'd be tempted to buy it. 5 stars!

@dagegen What specs do you have? Yeah, this time we haven't had enough time to work on performance for old PC specs =(

@jk5000 problem was in another place, i haven't spent a few days on solving this issue and it seems that we couldn't fix it completely without reworking all level data from a scratch. So i have fixed what i can now and i hope that next time i won't have this problem

@blueman thanks, i will think about it

The music was superb, set a really cheery mood.
I liked driving around and figured quickly out what to do. The car handling was well done, but at high speeds it refused to turn, which is a shame as I would have liked to do some drifting.
The playtime could have been shorter as driving around seem to be a bit pointless after a couple of minutes.

My highscore was around 45000, if anyone wants to compare.

Love the concept and use of the theme. Also, the way the buildings are drawn is pretty charming, but you removed the graphics rating so idk if you guys drew them. However, I feel like this game fell just short of perfect (for a LDJAM entry). The driving mechanics are nice but could use a more functional handbrake and better collision physics. If the driving mechanics were juiced up a bit more (as they are the main gameplay aspect of this game), this would have been the perfect entry! But as of now, the car feels good, but can barely make turns, can't drift, and I have a feeling the little rails on the sides of the road are a lie, the collision feels more like crashing into a large wall that's very non-bouncey.

@batmanasb i have removed graphics category because i think it's too far from visuals in my head. However, my friend helped me with buildings and car models and i really appreciated his help.

About drifting and bouncing - at first i need to say that even in case when i have used built-in driving template from engine and tweak and modified it... it was really hard to implement and test drifting and bouncing features and leads to more serious issues, so i have decided to turn it off in release version and ship game with less amount of unexpected behaviour and bugs. IMO simpler but more stable and finished game is better than buggy

This game is pretty good. Unreal doesn't like my graphics card, but that didn't matter too much. I would add some things to your game. It would be cool to have some drift at high speeds so that I could make long turns. Secondly, the game feels empty. It doesn't feel like a world because there isn't much in it. Maybe you could add more people and some cars or something like that. Finally, the game ended for me when I flipped my car. If there was a car reset button it would be very useful.

Yay UE4! Great work setting the physx vehicle component up. It can be a bit of a pain. Well, to the game... It was fun for the whole playthrough, and even if it looked a bit unfinished, it has a established style. The music is great and the gameplay is nice. A few more pick up and drop off locations wouldn't hurt, but it was good otherwise. BTW disable the SteamVR plugin if you don't need it.

Good job! (Please check my game out if you have time, i need a few more votes :D)

Ran really bad on my computer. Would have been more faithful to real italy with some traffic ;) but it was an interesting execution of a tried and tested idea.

Your game fascinatingly reminded me of the times I roamed through Mafia 1 with clarinet Jazz on the radio -> points for nostalgia there. :) Maybe the crate model is a little too dark, there were times when it spawned in a shadowy area and I completely overlooked it. The navigation arrow might have been a little misplaced on top of the car roof; when driving up or down slopes, it was barely visible.
Driving felt responsive (though I would have wished for a drift mechanic due to the objectives always being in tight turns) and graphics are nice (except some overlapping textures). All in all, not much to criticize here, good job!

Fun game. You were ambitious (a whole district, mini map, several objectives).

The graphics are a little too minimalists.
Try to move away from the template.
