Chaos by ezombort

[raw]
made by ezombort for LD35 (COMPO)
Chaos is a very simple small game where the sole purpose is to get as good score as possible and brag about it.

Should be easier to play on pads and large phones.

**No sound on iPads it seems :\

Well that got frantic quickly. Simple concept, but surprisingly addictive.

Thanks to your game I'm now a nervous wreck. I'll be seeing those shapes in my sleep.

A+ would panic again.

That was fun!
"This is easy, the music is so calming, I bet I could clear all the shapes off the board"
15 seconds later
"WAIT WAIT! SLOW DOWN! STOP! NOOOOOO!"

Nice game for kids. Relaxing gameplay. Sometimes shapes get locked behind other shapes and you can't click them.

Hi,
very nice game, but sometimes, when I clicked the shape, it didn't destroy

Pretty hectic! I liked how relaxed the music was in comparison to the action on-screen. The click detection was sometimes a bit finicky if two shapes were overlapping. My score: https://i.imgur.com/zz5BIcm.png

Awesome game. So simply but really addictive! You should really consider making this into a mobile game.

It works you up into a crazy shape clicking monster!

Surprisingly compelling, but could use a lot more polish. Spreading the shapes around evenly is an interesting computer science problem, you should look into it :)

Not sure I get the shapeshift aspect about the game. Seems like your just clicking a bunch of random shapes. No shapeshifting going on here.

Very enjoyable, simple gameplay. I played on desktop, but this would be a very enjoyable mobile app. Got quite hectic when I was near death. Made it to 68 shapes! Well done.

Awesome game for kids, good audio too. Doesn't seem to fit the shapeshifting theme though

Fun addicting game! Definitely would be nice on a touch screen as I'm using a huge monitor and requires me to travel a long distance to get to the shape I need to click lol. Great work, though!

I think this would be an awesome ipad game for parents to give their kids! I totally would have when my kids were younger. Great job!

Nice, good concept, simple but challenging, getting more difficult with time because of the added shapes.
Well done!

I was not expecting Chaos to be so... Chaotic. My eyes frantically darting around a big ol' monitor, with the calm kids TV style music slowly digging away at my sanity like nails on a chalkboard... Oh my.

I was pretty good at this game when I was 2, but not so much anymore it seems. I like how it naturally gets more challenging as the screen fills.

The overlapping is a bit jarring when it gets going fast. Playing this makes me feel a bit uneasy. It might be quite addictive if I kept going.

Simple concept, but well executed. Love the contrast between the soothing music and frantic gameplay. I bet this game is WAY easier on a touch screen though.

What you could consider is to make the shape you're looking for flash up larger in the middle of the screen, so you don't need to take your eyes off the board every second or so.

Pretty interesting game but terrible to play on a laptop with a trackpoint so I only got 26 points. I didn't even take a screenshot.

That was a blast. Put this on Android with polish. My eyes wont bug out as much. Very nice easy fun mechanic.
