TimeWars by Chupachu
This is a game about the many battles for control of Europe throughout time. The idea of this game is that all of these nations are competing to own the "Old World." There just isn't enough room for all of these factions. This is a battle simulator-type game that is designed to somewhat accurately represent the fighting styles and abilities of the nations that existed. For example, the Romans are very disciplined, and only attack if they are sure they will hit. The Spartans are incredibly strong and will hold off anyone who goes after them. Many more stats and modifiers like these are included. This game has full controller support (Ideally Xbox,) and also has keyboard and mouse support. With hand-to-hand combat, there is a decently high skill ceiling for fighting enemies, and some nations are developed enough to use guns, such as Britain and Prussia. Britain does more damage, but Prussia can fire faster. This game also contains various cheat codes for godmode and infinite attack speed. The game is not meant to handle maximum of every unit, but if you think your computer can handle it, feel free to give it a try. I hope you enjoy!
Note: This game handles similarly to a battle simulator and the main character has very little control over the outcome of the battle. Secondly, cheat codes can be activated at any time in the battle by entering them on the keyboard.

Personally, I felt that my contribution to the outcome was quite minimal. I'd have liked my actions during the game to have a more significant effect.
A Great take on the Battle Simulator Genre. We spoke extensively through the stream, but my thoughts boiled down to wanting to see the environment have more effect on what's going on, and seeing more toggles and AI Decisions being made. Great job! I look forward to seeing more!
Very fun to max out the sliders and watch the world burn! >:D
Missing a goal in the game is a pity tho. Adding one or two simple challenges might give some gameplay like:
The Visigoth Invasion: Rome is at 100%, you can spread 100% among any nr of other countries. Goal: make sure Rome dies.
I wish that the rest of your army would follow the one unit that you could control. I think it would lead to some interesting situations where you lead armies on a chase and then can force two enemy armies into close proximity. Beyond that, I think letting things like rivers and channels interfere with troop movements would be interesting to see as well (although that would take a lot of time to map out).
Good luck on the post-LD development!
