Interesting and fun idea, great feeling to throw away the money like that: P
I was going to say something about not seeing that much connexion with the theme and then I re-read your game's title : ) Nice one guys !
As for the negative spot, I'd just say that I wasn't sure to see the point of the game, apart for the fun context of it, maybe it lack achievements of some kind.
Outside of that congratulations !
It's rated.
Yeah, the ghosting screen-effect is pretty obnoxious, I never solved the mystery and it's missing shopping carts. How can you make a mall game _without shopping carts_?! That's blasphemy.
In any case, it was a fun little thing, although it could use some more weird stuff to do. Well done!
I never realized how much fun it would be to throw money at things....literally.
Great submission and gratz on creating this game.
The obvious negative is the lack of an objective, though given this game's place in the "weird itch experience" genre, that isn't too unusual. It would be nice to be able to buy things for the NPCs when they talk about them.
The art style is bright and bold, which I liked, but also under polished. The music set the tone pretty well, very mall-like.
I really liked the mood and the weird colorful artstyle, and throwing money at stuff is always fun.
The only downside is that i didn't feel like there really was a 'point'? Or maybe that's just me.
Overall fun idea.
Thought the visuals and music worked really well in setting the mood and liked how the music definitely reminded me of mall or elevator music, perfect fit. Was pretty satisfying spamming the money although I did think there might have been different endings of when you leave without buying anything to the times you buy everything before leaving.
As mentioned above, everything had a weird double-vision that made it disorienting and started to give me motion-sickness.
If you wanted to add objectives, even just adding some simple puzzle-solving (this guy wants a phone, buy a phone, take it to him) would probably scratch that itch for people who feel like there isn't a point.
Good game, I enjoyed it!
Good job!
