[raw]
made by Fryderider for LD 42 (COMPO)

You're a tiny Garbage Man living inside a semi underground waste container. All kinds of garbage are being dumped here and it's your job to recycle it!

  • WASD to Move
  • Mouse to aim
  • Right Mouse Button to grab an item
  • Hold Left Mouse Button to charge up power
  • Release Left Mouse Button to launch the item you're holding

Keep an eye on the Garbage Meter When it's full you're covered in garbage and the game is over!

Try to recycle as many items as you can! TGM1.png

32 !

It's lovely :3

The only thing that bugged me was the depth (z axis). It's quite hard to retrive the right position to shoot in the pipes when you lose it, and in the end I found that the best way to score was to never move up or down, since they're always some garbage to pick left or right^^

And one other little detail, you could have use a *round-trip* (dont know if it's the right english word x) ) for your power launch, I mean that once it reach the maximum power, it lose power, so the player have to be precise and release at the right moment :D

But these 2 things apart it was really fun and great job with the 3D assets OnO!!!
And the *tutorail* was clear too!

Great job for this one! \o/

Love the art style, as Ng said, it's hard to depict where it's going to shoot as the z axis is none existent on the character.

Other than that, great game!

Tutorial is quick and you can swiftyly get a hang of what the controls are.

Awesome little game ! Really cute, lovely music, and fun gameplay ! Cool and simple concept as well !

At first I was a bit worried about the Z-Axis being used in the movement but in the end it was all cool ! If I got to make a gameplay tweak, it would be maybe removing the charge meter, because I thought throwing at minimal power isn't really helpful and only slows down the pace overall. Removing would have made the thing much more hectic and crazy in my opinion.

But don't get me wrong I loved this game ! You did a really awesome job ! Congrats !

Lovely game! :)

The graphics are great, and the gameplay fun, I came to 52 recycled items on the first run!
I had no problems with the z-axis, though later due to the amount of garbage i never had to move up or down.

The tutorial was a great addition. and awesome job making it 3D!

Great job! :)

I love this one! I was really impressed with the sound design, the impact noises of each prop were really believable. And once it's nearly game over it's really fun just knocking the 100s of items around. Great job

It reminded me of the Lego Movie for some reason. I mean by the looks of it.

Really nice concept and graphics are pretty good. But control are a lil uncool (have to use both click of mouse is a bit disturbing for me). But keep it up !

Graphics are great!, although its hard to gauge where you are depth wise and that ended up in me getting some stuff stuck into walls game play worked great though! (30 points)

This is probably my favortie LD42 game so far. Gameplay is fun and challenging, the music is great and I absolutely love the combination of pixel art and 3D meshes. The sound is amazing too, it really sounds like you're interacting with the things you're picking up. The only bad thing I found is that when you throw things its hard to know where you are on the Z-axis. Other than that the game is awesome :D

Really cool idea, one little thing, the fact that you move in 2d and the objects in 3d sometimes makes a little confusing what are you gonna pick. Other than that, really nice graphics, and fun to play.

Really cool idea, I really like that you can only move in 2 dimensions, it makes the game feel unique. Nice graphics and fun to play.

Character being a pixellated sprite is a bit jarring, but overall look is very endearing. And it's really fun to play! Minor gripe: distribution size is a bit over the top.

I'm not getting great frames, but this is really cool! The blending of art styles is a nice idea too!

Nice game, cute character. The game could have done without being to move back and forth as it became difficult to line yourself up at first. But good game!

This was a neat game! It was very satisfying to get the trash into their tubes. I like the aesthetic of the background and items. Thanks for sharing this with my stream!

Nice game I liked the idea of the game itself and the way you did the graphics was a nice choice. Would be good to see a leaderboard in an update. i think that would add extra challenge and drive for players. Good Game well done dude

Excelent example where to teach machine learning robots. This one is more like work than a game.

This was simple, but fun! Took a while to get used to the trajectory, especially on the top pipes.
