Death has many Forms by Chikoness
A jam collab with @ranmaru90. Once again I needed help with coding...
"Have you ever felt like death just passed by you, without you knowing? Perhaps it did. It just took a comforting form. In this game, you play as the Grim Reaper. Claim ONLY humans that are marked with an X, ignore humans without an X or there will be consequences - Take a form they are comfortable in - like a cat, or a ball to glide by them without claiming their soul."
Instructions:
LEFT and RIGHT key to move
LEFT SHIFT to switch to ball form, LEFT SHIFT again to go back to Grim Reaper form
RIGHT SHIFT to switch to cat form, RIGHT SHIFT again to go back to Grim Reaper form
ONLY CLAIM HUMANS WITH AN "X" ABOVE THEIR HEAD
Ignore humans with no "X" by changing to a form that are shown above their head. Running into them in Grim Reaper form WILL take their souls forcefully.
Art assets, music by me

Gameplay was a little simple. And I don't understand why use two buttons that are at the opposite ends of a keyboard, but that is only a minor annoyance.
I did really like the concept though, even if the quotes did make me a little sad! Good job! :)
(Oh, I left a response to your comment on my page. I think it might just have been a case of slipping on one of the notes, the system is unfortunately unforgiving! If you have some spare time, please give it another shot! ^^)
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
Awesome entry, I love the nonchalance style of the cat-form :D
