This is the first game jam i complete, and the first game i develop by my self.
There are probably some errors, and unfinished areas, i'm learning and improving.

Edit 1 - Unfortunately, the player is invincible in this build, I've no idea why, in the editor it works perfectly, but when I make the build, the player simple won't die for the farmer, I'm going to fix it and add another link to te updated version. Thanks again for the feed-back :D

Edit 2 -

## PATCH NOTES

**Fixes:**

- Fixed a bug that caused the player to be immortal;
- Fixed a bug where the seed gun would only kill one specific enemy, even if you aimed at another one;

**Changes:**

- Changed the "Speed Upgrade" to increase the player's speed from 6 to 7, before it was from 6 to 10 XD
- Changed the "Vitality upgrade", to increase the player's health from 10 to 50 , before it was from 10 to 30;

No build? After reading the 'making of' post, I really wanted to play, but I'm not going to download the whole project...

The farmers can't kill me. I try not to move to see what happens but nothing... Nice apple I think it's the first time in my life that I play as an apple

The graphics and animations is pretty good. The game idea is simple and fun. I am not sure the farmers are able to kill me, and gave them a good change to try to kill me. Overall a good first LD game. Well done.

I liked the concept but it wasnt explored enough to be engaging to the player, but for a first game jam it looks really good, nice work!

Ah, alright, I'm downloading it...

**EDIT:** Okay, the trees were great, as was all of the art! And the music was cool too. I also liked how the walls got wider with each level.

Now, the apples arms and legs... they were animated kind of weirdly, and the ends didn't go into the body of the apple, so you could see through the ends, which weren't capped. Also, the gun should have been a child of the arm so that it would not just hover in place like it does.

@jk5000 Yeah, they can't kill you, that was a last time bug and I didn't fix it in time, but i'm working on it and will update the link, unity sometimes messes things up, in the editor works fine but not on the build ;-; Thx for playing and for the feed back :D

Super simple, enjoyable, cute as hell! Wayyy too easy and the seed gun was OP, lol. Would have loved some more feedback to notice my upgrades. There was unexpected heavy breathing that started in level 3, still not sure if it was the apple or an unseen farmer bearing down on me, but holy golden crisp that scared the core right out of me!! Good game!

@ruddiculous Hahaha thanks man, yeah the gun was really OP, i tried implementing a rate of fire, but it didn't fell good, about the feedback, i didn't even think about it XD but now that you mentioned it, the game would reeeeally benefit from such mechanic, the heavy breathing is actually from the hunter, and its present in all levels, but on level 3 there are more hunter so you can notice it a lot easier, glad the guy scared you XD that was my intention hahaha

The game may be rough around the edges but it's really enjoyable. Congrats on your first game! This is awesome.
Now it's time to keep at it and improving little by little. The key is to have fun and enjoy what you are doing while you keep making those videogames.
Again, congrats on your first jam and game and see you on the next Ludum Dare! ;)

Alright, so with the speed I was able to walk through without getting touched; on the other hand, using the seed gun made me practically unstoppable. If there's something I would suggest, I guess it would be more obstacles in general, to help certain power-ups feel more significant. The game could use a little balancing, but overall, it's not bad for your first entry!

@gerardb Thank you so much for playing and leaving feedback, I really appreciate you advice.
About "keeping at", that's for sure, gonna fix the problems and improve the elements, also gonna add some more content that I planned to add, but couldn't cause of the limited time. Again, thank you A LOT!!

@hunter-towe thanks for playing man, and thanks for the feedback too, yeah balancing this game was hard, I even tried to implement a fire rate for the seed gun, but didn't feel good, but i'll update it down the road, adding obstacles is a very good suggestion, and I will definitely have a go at it. Thanks again.
