Life is always moving forward. So don't hesitate, just jump. All your jumps are meaningful.
Control
*keyboard: *
WSAD -- move
space -- jump
xbox controller:
left-stick -- move
Y button -- jump

Tips
Starting from 15 years old, age will increase every 5s until 35 years old, then increase every 1s until 60.
Age less than 35, player speed will increase gradually. Age greater than 35, player speed will quickly decrease.
Cube will have influence on player's speed and jump height.

Ideas
When doing level design for games, I always feel that all player behaviors are only technical, without any emotional or narrative part. So this time, conbined with the strong emotion genre, I want to create some unique feelings.
One thing to mention is that level design in general must after the player ability data, like how far, how high. But this time since the player speed and jump height is dynamic, it's really hard to design it without tons of playtests.
Yeah~ Enjoy the event so much~

Tools
Unity 2017.3 for the game framework.
Probuilder for the simple model.
Post processing stack for the amazing look of the game.
FMOD for the background music changing according to player's speed.
Photoshop for texture and other art stuff.
FL Studio for making BGM.

OK! Guys, enjoy~ Feel free to leave your "life path" in the comment

The music is good, it's enough to setup an atmosphere with only a short gameplay.
For the gamepad, I chose to play first with it because I think few people use them (bad for the feedback). Maybe you should have added joypad commands to navigate in the menu (start, quit, suicide).
There is potential for some good full game, here.
I'd say it's too easy to fall through the gaps but.. yup, seems on point.
This is beautiful. I hope you are extremely proud of what you just made.
If there's anything to even remotely "criticize", I just wish I could change the camera angle / work out the way to change said camera angle. Found it confusing going up the spiral at the end and missed so many options... so I can quite easily believe that's an artistic choice too.
1.After you choose a path, you can still see what will happen if you choose the different way. And I can really feel the sense of incapability when I fail to get in college or get a promotion.
2.The agility of the character increase when he make the "right choice". That makes it a little tricky to reach some path (especially meeting Sophia), which is good because it distinguish this game from that kind of game where you make choice by just clicking.
3.I think it is redundant to choose a partner in the beginning as long as you can see that option during the game. We will lose the surprise finding those options.
4.The game flow is too short. Hoping to see more after buying a house.
All in all, fantastic game! Looking forward to seeing more of your work
The game reminds me of Gravitation by Jason Rohrer. If you could expand upon the platform segments and continue having it serve as metaphors I think it could be really interesting!
I usually write about the things you could improve on but the only problem for me was the camera at the end.
I'd love to see a full game made out of this, heck i'd pay for a full game. Oh my god just thank you for making this game I truly love it. If you don't mind I also made an emotional game
(though I targeted a different emotion) I would love it if you would check it out. here's the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/yum-some
I am a little curious as to why you chose to mark the reset button 'suicide' though, especially given how much of the screen it takes up. Given the game's focus on exploration, I feel something like 'reincarnate' might have been a little more suitable? All in all, I enjoyed my time with this game though!
Really, excellent and sublime work.
All in all, it was great fun to play. I would love to see it expanded upon.
