None of us is familiar with The Guide, so we went with the general theme of "The Earth WIll Be Destroyed."
The goal is to protect the human race from extinction for as long as possible.
The control scheme is:
=Left click on a satellite to select it
-WIth a satellite selected, left click on an asteroid to target it
-Left click in empty space to clear your selection
-Click the 'Purchase Satellite' button to add a new satellite, then left click again to place it
-With a satellite selected, click the Add Self-Targeting button to enable the satellite to automatically pick the closest target

It also feels like either purchasing additional satellites or auto targeting is too expensive or the incremental cash flow is too slow (even with a full population). But that is just a simple balance problem, easily fixed with a little tweaking.
Other than that, I was liking it.
There was a bug in the aiming code. It should be much better now.
Balancing was kind of a last minute thing. You're right about cash flow being to slow. I just updated the modifier constant, and I think it plays much better now.
I would love for the pacing, tower defense element and economics to be developed a bit more. Has a lot of potential overall.
