Blood in the Water by voliminal99
I was put up to this by a chap in my office. He competes all of the time, and is constantly talking about the next REAL Dare. This was an attempt to see if I could build a game in just 48 hours, without real life getting in the way.
Sadly this wasn't the case, and the game only got about 2-3 hours worth of dev time in total.
I think the main thing I have taken away for next time, is that I need to massively improve my graphics chops, as the visuals for this game end up a stolen + hashed together mess, as I simply ran out of time.
I think after this, I will enter the main comp, depending on feedback, as the process was really really fun.

- It isn't fair that the sharks can spawn over you.
- A cheap way to win time is go to the top and appear from below, then go to the bottom and appear from above, and so on..
I understand you kept the apple in there. With little time you can't take it out again.
For me I would like the collision detection a bit better.
The first comment seems a bit harsh, but you should definitely enter the competition IF you have enough time.
If it's fun you should do it. If 48 hrs is not enough you can enter the jam competition or enter One Game A Month.
Good luck.
