Mutual Assured Destruction!
Release early, release often; already you can click on some ICBM silos in the US and fire them.
Use the arrow-keys and pgup/pgdn to spin the globe.
Why don't you help code it? All contributions gladly received! Fork & pull request time! https://github.com/williame/ludum_dare_mini_40_MAD

The number of short lines in the arc of the missile is determined by haversine, yes. https://github.com/williame/ludum_dare_mini_40_MAD/blob/gh-pages/game.js#L69
Then the actual positions on the arc are from quaternions. I did not try to mimic a real ballistic path or the kind of paths real ICBMs take e.g. http://w3.uwyo.edu/~jimkirk/minuteman.html
