Slimon Sways by Fanatrick

[raw]
made by Fanatrick for LD35 (JAM)
Slimon Sways is a physics platformer. You move by slinging the slime. Slime can use power-up to shapeshift into a spiked ball, balloon or divide itself into more controllable parts. Levels are mostly simple puzzles, but the real challenge is using slime's physical properties to bounce, rotate, rotate into walls for momentum, walljump, resist forces, etc.

Enjoy the game and, who knows, maybe you can beat the boss ;)

!NOTICE!
This game requires pixel shader model 2.0 and up, if your graphics card doesn't support it you'll definitely end up with crashes. Notebook and laptop users can right click -> run with graphics processor -> high-performance processor in order to force hardware rendering in case the game fails to load.

Wow, what a blast this was. I'm off to sleep now for sure, I can barely type. I'll create a better description tomorrow with more matching screenshots.

Too bad, i can't play because i don't have such a computer !
Screenshots are very promising, and the fact that you have actually 3 musics composers makes me sad i can't test this !

This was really fun! I loved the art style and music. The whole thing felt very finished and professional, can't believe it was made in just 72 hours.

Wow, I was so surprised after discovery of "predicting the path" feature. It is implemented exceptionally well. Abilities are interesting. Level design is just awesome!

Especially I liked instruction's style and the cartoon in the beginning. Great job!

Cool game but very difficult, couldnt get far. Seemed to me like the player was independant on the boxes to click the buttons, but getting the boxes where you wanted was a complete nightmare.

Good game, interesting idea even though the controls are quite hard... but that's how it is I guess, you have to master it.

Really nice to watch that retro intro :)

damn man, that is some epic stuff! really fits the theme and is fun to play too, kinda amazed at all the things you managed to put in, even the 'where are the other blobs' indicator.

Cool and original concept and fun to play! The art was 'rough around the edges' but I could see what you could have done if you would have had more time. I think it looked good!

This was awesome - very creative, it looks really nice, and the sound and music are great.

It was just a little too much repetition required on a retry given how much instant death there was. It made me feel like I didn't want to risk experimenting except at the very start of a level.

Definitely enjoyed playing though, strong entry!

Very nice game!

Btw, when I change zoom, it's not centered properly. I think, you should fix that.

Wow, very well done with this entry. The art and music are both fantastic, and the intro sequence was very professional.

Oh, yes, and the game was fun, too! I really liked the shape powerups... It got tough very quickly, though! I feel it could have done with a bit more easing in (such as introducing crushing platforms a bit later on), but maybe that's just me.

Overall, a super-solid game that's very cleanly presented.
