Adrift - A realtime castaway simulator by Tyen
In this boat simulator you have lost your sail and now adrift in the deep ocean.
The game is set to use your computer's clock for the sky. Meaning if you start the game up at six in the morning, you will be able to see the sun rise!
Other fun features are weather conditions like thunders storms, and a bunch of other fun ones.
Controls-
WASD - Movement
Mouse - Looking
Note-
There is no current way to quit the game if you are running in fullscreen mode. Please use ALT-F4
I chose both the themes for this MiniLD. Taking the 'Not-a-game' theme and using the boat as more of an experience. While the 'Real-time' theme is used in the sun and sky.
Was a fun little game to make over this weekend, and I intend on ironing out all the bugs and updating the game soon.
This is my first game (well... not-game really) that I have released through LD, please let me know what you think :)
Have fun!
For the water I used the the community Ocean Unity Plugin, and the sky uses the UniStorm plugin, everything else I created for this project.

The boat and the sky are beautiful and it conveys a great mood! I really felt...alone.
I cheated a bit with my windows clock to see different skies and every single one was great. I think I'm gonna put this on my desktop to have my daily sailing minutes.
Also, I just mini-reviewed it in french : http://oujevipo.fr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=787:adrift&catid=38:30-minutes-&Itemid=57
A tiny bit too heavy for my computer and the fullscreen from web player didn't seem to work here.
But it doesn't appear to fill with water, did you mean to add this?
Can't wait for the new Unity version to bring Linux support.
Fix major problem with collision model causing boat to sink when you go to the front of the boat.
You can now go to the front of the boat and look out the windows :)
I started playing around 8:30. I noticed some weird artifacts, though. Like, seeing very pronounced sun-rays on a cloudy night. As I kept playing, the graphics seemed to deteriorate. I could see the into the inside of my ship as a in the reflection in the water by looking over the port bow. I even sailed right out of the ocean! :)
I'll try to remember to check it out around 6:00 :).
#1 - Huge waves that engulf your ship
#2 - Heavy rain
#3 - Tsunami's
#4 - Ability to close doors and MAYBE windows and ability to go sleep and a random chance of either sleeping through a massive wave/tsunami attack and random chance of death, or you get woken up and have the ability to TRY and keep the ship clear of water with a bucket that is hanging somewhere or under a bed or in a small cabinet
#5 - all in all make it really awesomer-some-sauce and more realistic and badass
#6 - maybe an auto-updater if possible?
