I was inspired by my girlfriend, so I made a video game staring her.

You only use the mouse.

You click different areas in the back ground to enter them.

That's about it for now. I'm really thankful this was made. I have a great concept I'm going to build off of this entry. Hope you enjoy it!

I made everything myself in about 10 hours. I went with 18x64

And you don't "lick" anything in this game, you "click." Should have read that before i hit submit, now I can't change it! Derr.

There's a link to edit your entry on the 'view all entries' page. Only found it because I made some errors when submitting my own game. :)

Also, I'd take 10 hours with a grain of salt. I spent half the time playing Minecraft of Xbox. Lol.

I was going to say...this game was inspired by your girlfriend, you lick background objects to enter them??

Interesting! Good use of the resoloution, I must say. Catchy music, too. Couldn't figure out how to finish the game.

Not to sound rude, but this game was really dumb, but in a silly, cute and enjoyable kind of way. lol ; )

I like the overall feel, but I wish I knew more what to do (I went into woods, into cavern, I managed to light the torch, don't know what's next), but I get the general idea and quite like it. Though it's not really 18x64, is it? I mean, I can see that graphics are, but background is moving fluently so it's not like a game in 18x64px, scaled up? :>

There isn't anything to do. It's really a tech demo. And yes, everything was scaled up. I'd t think about the fluid movement. Oh well! It really inspired me, and I'm already building off what little I've done here. I'm super happy :-)

Normally I'd expect people to use the height of the resolution more because it's not very wide, but you turned that constraint into a mechanic, which is cool.

And if you got a good idea out of it too, great!
