This is our first Ludum Dare.
Protozoa is a game about surviving the climb from your deep water home to the water's surface.

As a protozoa, you must adapt, evolving and gaining genes to help you in your journey.
Eat food and dodge enemies to gain Gene Points, collect enough and buy new Genes!

It was programmed in C++ in an engine we made from scratch. Enjoy!


There's a 32bit binary included, but you may have to build it yourself. Look at the README.
