Dirt Driller by matthias_zarzecki

[raw]
made by matthias_zarzecki for MINI26 (COMPO)
Control the drill and steer it as far into the earth as you can.

Themes are loosely drill, descend, dirt and dig.

Time was short, so there is a miniscule chance of (optical) bugs I couldn't iron out.

Features:
- Automated random procedural awesome level generation
- Third-person Drill controls
- Atmospheric and claustrophobic surroundings
- Implemented Highscores, to keep you coming back to kick some ass
- Quite fitting awesome soundtrack

this is awesome.... more "flying" than "drilling" but good!

It is cool but hmm a little too dark on my screen.. I cannot see what is coming. Great look and amazing music.

This is very good, I played it again and read the comments the people from kongregate wrote, I agree with most of them.
I think this has good potential for a game where you chase smuggleers through underground tunnels, like a 'race' and shoot kind of deal where you need to watch out for obstacles.

Both idea and realisation are well done ! I agree with vintersphrost, that's more flying than drilling but doesn't matter

I think this is the game with the most potential from this Mini. With a little work on story and gameplay you have a winner on your hands.

Thx for playing. It's cool to know people like it :-)

And yes, I am thinking about extending this. No promises, though.
