Really fun game! I love the graphics although the screen did shake a bit too much. Also I did get a bit lost, wandering aimlessly. Maybe add some clues on where to go. Other than that I loved it. Great Job!

This game's name should rather be "Gamefeel.exe". This is one of the best polished games I've ever played.

This... is really awesome. alot of indie game designers could learn alot from this 48 hour project.

I think you went a little overboard on the screen shaking, a little too much and it happens on too many different events. if it shook only when you fired your gun that would be like golden. the little sparkle the health packs do to the 20XX and cool planet on startup... this is REALLY AWESOME im freaking out man.

Most fun I've had yet! I loved the screenshake, and amazing attention to detail like how the flowers sway in the wind and bushes explode into leaves. This game is awesome.

I played till I beat the final boss. I think I enjoyed playing this more than Hyper Light Drifter.

It's a shame because I was really loving it but sometimes it stopped letting me be able to fire, I don't know why so I havn't marked it down, high marks for a great little game!

Excellent game. Love the details like destroyable bushes. At first, I did not where to go, especially since enemies are respawning and you don't know exactly, whether you already had been in a room. But ammo respawns, too, which I liked ;)

@Danny Gallagher The blaster stops shooting when you're running out of weapon energy, gotta let it recharge. My bad though, should have made it much more clearer to the player

Really really fun to play! graphics and sound were good, feels like a complete and polished game. Only critique I'd say it didn't use theme a lot.

I like a lot this game. Really fun! Shooting feels so good and the cooldown mechanics adds a lot. It only needs a catchy tune! The theme isn't nowhere, but it's fine.

So glad I played this, this is one of the most classic game mechanics done absolutely brilliantly. I had to play this all the way through and I was not disappointed by the finale. Love the graphics and the sounds and most of all the gameplay and level design. The only flaw I could find was that it was possible to exploit the health powerup respawn in a couple of places. I got lost once or twice but it was a good kind of lost, the kind of lost you want to be in an oldschool sprawling top-down shooter. This is pretty much the perfect Ludum Dare entry.

Pretty great game, very polished. The shooting sound got a bit repetitive by the end of the game, and the screenshake was a bit too much, but it was very fun. I actually found myself shooting at the destructible bushes while walking between maps, and if you designed that on purpose, kudos!

One question, though. Why is the final boss a computer?

Very polished, makes great use of animations for firing and stuff that reminds me of nuclear throne. Enemy types are varied and interesting.

Anyone else have a constant strafing problem? I thought it was bc of my gamepad controller at first but after unplugging I still strafed right always. Even with this problem I enjoyed playing which speaks to how fun the game feels

My one criticism is that this seems kinda shoe-horned in to fit the theme of shape shifting.

Still, this is a very well executed game. Bravo.

Best game I've played so far, shooting mechanics are awesome. I LOVED EEVERYTHING. Sounds, the way screen shaked when you shoot, enemies, the dynamics of the game, and BOSS FIGHT(beat on first try =) ). Also, THERE IS A PLOT! But theme was introduced very sligthly.

Really well executed game. the shooting felt as good as in Nuclear Throne and gave a nice feeling of power. Maybe should have added something more from the theme. The first text '20XX' made me smile from ear to ear.

Just an awesome game overall. I wish there was some sort of map, and the boss was absolutely brutal, but everything was otherwise great. Graphics were really nice, and the story made me laugh. I hope you'll expand this into a full game :)

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)

Great game, I love the look and feel. The screen shake is a little excessive, but it's not that bad. Great work for only having 48 hours. I like that you can't just hold down the shoot button, it feels great.

WOW! This was the full package; fun, responsive, addictive gameplay, level design that encouraged taking risks, checkpoints that kept my interest, a funny premise with a fun story setup, and BEAUTIFUL visuals... GREAT job!

Exceptionally polished presentation, but mechanically underwhelming. I got a strong case of "Been there, done that".

The biggest issue here is the lack of thematic exploration. You could have gone with shape-shifting abilities, weapons, enemies, environments; there are so many options. Yet here the theme is only seen in the backstory blurb, which is to say not in the game proper. Disappointing.

Then again, maybe you just wanted to create a simple game that feels good to play. Who am I to judge.
