Driver Hunter by Crimsoneer

So, this is the game I threw together in a few hours, to see if I could still use Pygame and whether it was at all feasible to make it into an executable. I'm terrible, and pygame is terrible, and it's slightly shameful, but it's up and playable with music and noises and a score and everything, so HA. I was forced to use Arial, because apparently using your system font breaks pygame. Wonderful.

Anyway, Driver Hunter. There is no hunting, and very little driving. You play as a white block, avoiding strange cars. It's minimalist and rubbish, but hey, warmup weekend!

I'm afraid this only currently works on Windows or Linux. Also, it probably won't work if you don't have ArialBlack.ttf installed on your machine. WOHOO! Bring on the weekend.

Worked fine for me :D!

I like it, the only complaint is that the cars' collision boxes are fairly large for what they should be.

Thanks!

At least it launched! I'm relieved, not going to lie. Thanks :)

Any parts of the High Score that go over the edge of the road are visible after you die. Many of the cars appear to be moving backwards. You can just sit in the middle of the road, gaining points without any fear of getting hit. You gain points while in the "Press space to start" screen.

Normally I would consider these flaws, but I'm going to be unnecessarily positive and say that they somehow add to the bizarre charm of this game.
