Here's my LD27 warm-up entry, a short pong-based game with a small twist that was created in 6 hours of working time or so.\r\n\r\nIt's made with SFML 2.1 and VS2012, which is what I will be using for the actual compo. Maybe I'll try to port my actual entry to Linux, if I manage to update SFML on my old Ubuntu to 2.1 and rewrite my code to work with Code::Blocks and whatnot.\r\n\r\nThere's no sound currently and I can't really imagine such a light game like this with any sort of fitting sound effects. Maybe I'll experiment more with the sound later. Also, the interface was quite rushed so I hope that I'll push myself to spend more time on a better menu or something for my actual entry.\r\n\r\n-----------\r\n\r\nSimply use the mouse to control the positions of the 4 paddles. You gain points for keeping the ball in game and also for bouncing the ball with a paddle. Of course, the game ends when the ball leaves the screen.\r\n\r\nGravity wells that attract the ball occasionally appear, thus distorting the ball's path and adding a bit of challenge (hopefully). That's about it.\r\n\r\nClick the window to start the game and have fun!<\/p>","title":"Gravity Container"}
