.shifter is a action puzzle game. In .shifter, you are some tiny little white dots which form shapes. You can use the different abilities of different shapes to attack, jump, and trigger switches. Take advantage of your agility and intelligence to solve the puzzle!

This is a game created by me and my friend GlassHammer. We are both secondary school students in Hong Kong. We used Game Maker Studio and paint.net to make this game. We are both joining Ludum Dare event the first time and this is also our first game.

Thank you for checking this out. ;)

I really love the animation on the player when he shapeshifts! The leveldesign felt a bit tedious as you couldn't see the whole level and just went around in circles looking for a button.

Otherwise, nice game!

Hope you had fun making it =)

A clever platformer, but I didn't like the visuals. Also, there were no sounds at all and the popup windows for death notifications were annoying.

It,s quite nice :) the actual shape-shifing looks really cool.
Would be great with some sound added :)
The only real issue i had was with the camera, you had to get to the edge before it started to follow along which meant it was hard to see what was going on up ahead.
good entry!

The motion feels nice & fluid and I'd no trouble jumping around.

I'm not sure a popup-box is a good way to let the player know that they're dead or have advanced a level. Maybe you could solve that by painting 'level <number>' in the background (like the tutorial-messages) and just let the player (with that information) figure out for themselves if they've died or advanced a level.
