Bladestorm by Tykev

[raw]
made by Tykev for LD35 (JAM)
This game is not a proper entry of Ludum Dare. We are 2 friends who just started working on our own RPG, inspired mostly by World of Warcraft, Magicka and Might & Magic. This is what we did this weekend (coding from scratch, 3d assets from Unity Asset Store, BitGem and Mixamo). We will setup development blog later on www.tykev.com if you want to track it ;)

Target boss (on the stairs) and cast some spells...
Controls: Mouse, WSAD, 1, 2

The web version for this game is a bit buggy, also ludum dare games don't have to stick with the theme. If you have an idea you love, roll with it, the Ludum Dare is meant to get you motivated towards it.

The web version had a few issues where it wouldn't allow spell casting. Also the WASD movement doesn't align with the camera's position. However the movement animation is smooth, the path following and collisions are good, and when I could cast spells It looked good. Well done.

The basic mechanics seem to be working well.
Good luck with your project!

Very beautiful graphics and effects good work.

The controls are hard to manage and nothing happens when either the player or the boss has no health.
