Wandering around in the darkness. If the game had more visibility and movement using the tongue with some inertia (dropping shooting altogether) then it would have a fun control scheme. That would not be about the theme, unfortunately.

It's hard to figure out what's going on. The enemy shots are very small, and the fact that it's unclear where the level boundaries are, make it difficult to judge what's up.

The tongue was neat though!

I couldnt really distinguish between the enemies and anything else.

I thought the tongue was awsome though

like the idea of the tongue lots! Would've love to see enemies sooner and more of them.

Tongue movement was nice, but I usually died suddenly when I got anywhere near an enemy - It wasn't obvious that the 'particles' fired from the enemy were dangerous - and their range was about the same as the player's range of vision?

SFXr makes great coin collect sounds, though, doesn't it :)

Congrats on your first entry! It was a bit confusing to start out, and a bit frustrating further in. I liked the dark 'patchwork' world a lot though, rather evocative.

The main character and the level visuals are interesting. The "enemies as weapons" part seemed kinda insignificant, as the tongue was an instant kill, and the bullets you got seemed puny. I had trouble seeing the level edges.

To me, this looks like 20% of a really polished, nice game. Unfortunately, the other 80% is completely absent.

Couldn't get anything done in this game.
