Brain In A Jar by WilTwin

[raw]
made by WilTwin for LD18 (COMPO)
Here is my final entry, broken as it might be.

You are Brian Inajar the Brain In A Jar (hilarious!)

The object of the game is to kill the VIP in each level ('V' guy).

To do this you take over his body and use your psychic "Kill" command!

Some commands have a mental requirement which means you can't use it without weakening the mind of the host.

When you have selected a command you can see the area which will react to you using the command.

Controls:

Mouse to guide your psychic projection
Move into a body to take it over.
Right-click to exit bodies.

Left-click to select commands, and left-click again to use it.

Also you can't restart a level. It's broken :)

Notes for compiling:

I chose to be annoying and use a custom font. I included it with the source :O

Notes for huge file sizes:

Sorry...

Oof. Not being able to restart is definitely a problem.

I had some problems with that and about 1 hour after the deadline, I realized how easily I could have done it -.-. It's really just a 2-3 extra lines :P

Please do not use installers. Installing 50+ games with installers is just not without unlimited amount of time.

I'd rather not install anything either (under Linux/Wine here.)

Nice idea, fairly good start of something.
Its an XNA project. I used the exe in the source download (src/ld18game/ld18game/bin/x86/debug/) to not have to use the installer.

I'm trying to go through a lot of games really quickly, and I was barely able to install this in the time I alotted... I know, that's kinda harsh. Don't worry though, I'm not giving you ratings yet.
