Daremon by Fiona
(Disclaimer: This is a long game, I decided to make a whole RPG with a beginning, middle and end. As a result I have been unable to test it thoroughly enough so I cannot guarantee that winning the game with the current set of rules is feasable. Also there's no save feature, which is necessary for such a long game. I hope to make a Jam version with this in.)
DAREMON - A Pokemon Spoof
-Overworld controls-
Arrow keys - move
Space/return - confirm/look/talk
-Battle controls-
Mouse driven.
You can carry one Daremon at a time. To get a better one, find a wild one and try to capture it. The weaker the Daremon the higher chance of capture!
Good luck!

Now the criticisms. The game's pretty unbalanced. Either everyone's attack is too high or everyone's defense is abysmal, but I could never weaken a Daremon enough to catch it, I'd just end up OHKOing them, so I went through the whole game with Spork. Also Level 13 Pixees would OHKO me at like level 30.
And also after you become an Elite, is that the end of the game? I got congratulated but I didn't get a THE END or anything.
Overall though I liked it. Really impressive and ambitious effort, and it's got a lot of charm. :]
I just started, and a lot of little things are bothering me. game uses Arrows, Enter, and Mouse. There is no comfortable way to fit your hands to these keys. WASD [any key near WASD] and mouse would be way more to my taste. Or even WASD ENTER nomouse
One hits everywhere, and things always get away. Captures seem to be very unlikely on creatures at full health, and weakenign them is harder still. Anyways, Either enemy 1 hits me, or I 1 hit it. There is very little concept of weakening
Music is cool, but sound effects are really annoying. That victory noise bothers me a lot.
unless your left handed like me :) but yea I always try to include both sides of the keyboard for that reason
The biggest problem with the game was the almost guaranteed one hit KO, as mentioned above.
The musics are nice (although the victory one is quickly annoying), the creatures are funny and all, but the keybindings are really annoying, the game is pretty unbalanced, and I had performance issues in all but the first place (however, I haven't a "real" 3D driver, that might be the only cause).
Though, I did notice strange black squares in the tiling every now and then that were consistent. I didn't play far enough in to figure out if that was a joke or not. But you have a very nice game there that seems to only need some tweaking. Good job.
I don't have a lot to add to what was said below. I was annoyed by the lack of saving (Which you commented on) and the switching between the mouse and the keyboard for the various functions.
Battle music was very neat, got me pumped! :)
- Imbalanced monsters
- Not innovative

Not sure what the problem is, maybe the driver (Radeon 9700) doesn't like non-square non-power-of-two textures.
One-hit kills makes it a bit hit-or-miss (as it were). Other than that...
You accurately captured many annoying features of Pokémon. My kids loved the battle music and I liked the avatar cameos. Innovative? Of course not ;)
I ended up with a level 35 Biscuit, btw.
