I played a game right through, everything seems to work and is balanced. The pace is a little slower than I would like, it takes a while to get hard. \r<br\/>\r<br\/>I would have preferred that 'rage' and 'explosive head' powers were more different. At the moment, in most situations it doesn't matter which one you use."},{"author_name":"goffmog","author_uid":"2011","time":"Aug 24, 2010 @ 12:16pm","epoch":1282651860,"text":"I liked it a lot - it was great fun to play and very satisfying sending peasants to their inevitable doom. I would have liked a way to zoom out and maybe had a few more terrain features - after a while it's repetitive but short of adding in new locations and new enemy types I don't see what you could have done to prevent that. Good job."},{"author_name":"Alan Lynn","author_uid":"2636","time":"Aug 25, 2010 @ 12:15pm","epoch":1282738200,"text":"The sound was really quiet for me. As moop says the pace of the game needs to be higher. I think some other background music would really help on that. There's also some bugs I'm not to proud of that need to be ironed out.\r<br\/>The 'paper cut out' animations that localcodes likes is actually the result of me not having the pro edition so I couldn't use movie textures! Instead I used Unity's build in animation tool to animate the scale and orientation of animated objects.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I am still working on the game. It is the first time I have created something that comes close to something that is playable. I have figured out that game jams are a nice way to be motivated to complete a game prototype and find it interesting to polish and make into a more finished product.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I will post a link in this thread and on the IRC channel when I have a new version up and running :-)"}],"images":["ld18\/2550-fcdca8eb68ef5994a35bed9863ad2a66.jpg","ld18\/2550-32d52a4465e0c8e2db6426d57a084d7a.jpg","ld18\/2550-c560ae726484a20a35aa8d75625485af.jpg","ld18\/2550-3d359e1e8060baa123a6984362ae832c.jpg","ld18\/2550-8e6e9569f20c6b2d4ab5925bdbfcdf22.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/alexanderbirke.dk\/projects\/ludum-dare\/18\/final\/","text":"Windows"},{"url":"http:\/\/alexanderbirke.dk\/projects\/ludum-dare\/18\/final\/","text":"OS\/X"},{"url":"http:\/\/alexanderbirke.dk\/projects\/ludum-dare\/18\/final\/","text":"Web"},{"url":"http:\/\/alexanderbirke.dk\/projects\/ludum-dare\/18\/source\/All Peasants Must Die! source code.zip","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"33663","g_author":"2550","g_event":"LD18","g_eventkey":"4","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"33693","g_title":"All Peasants Must Die!","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"90","g_commentcount":"8","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/2550-shot0.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/2550-shot1.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/2550-shot2.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/2550-shot3.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/2550-shot4.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"You play as the evil wizard and your goal is simple.
