In fact, I couldn't alt+tab out, or ctrl+alt+delete or ctrl+shift+escape. I had to hard reboot my computer after waiting a minute or two. This has happened with other games for me, though, so I doubt it's your fault."},{"author_name":"vitae","author_uid":"1653","time":"Aug 23, 2010 @ 11:42am","epoch":1282563420,"text":"Strange. I didn't have access to many machines to test on, but alt+tab did work on my development machine. I'll start looking at potential problems for a later revision."},{"author_name":"eli","author_uid":"1395","time":"Aug 23, 2010 @ 12:10pm","epoch":1282565100,"text":"One-shot death and no way to restart without opening again. Add forced fullscreen... =(\r<br\/>\r<br\/>A little more work on the presentation would have gone a long way. I guess it sort of makes sense with the theme, since you can capture the enemies, but mostly it seemed like the reverse, "weapons as enemies".\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Didn't seem like there was much to the gameplay. You should work on making jumping from weapon to weapon more fun."},{"author_name":"mwest","author_uid":"24","time":"Aug 29, 2010 @ 2:05pm","epoch":1283090400,"text":"Reminded me a bit of the surfing segments in Ninja Turtles fighting games :)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Could've been nice with a bit more work on the presentation."}],"images":["ld18\/1653-b26ba5ceb186e0d8948dffb3c2894a86.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/www.cavein.org\/~chris\/code\/wenemies\/wenemies-0.9.zip","text":"Windows"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.cavein.org\/~chris\/code\/wenemies\/wenemies-0.9.2.zip","text":"Windows-nofullscreen *JAM*"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wWaVdts5F24","text":"Timelapse"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.cavein.org\/~chris\/code\/wenemies\/Wenemies-0.9.tar.gz","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"33635","g_author":"1653","g_event":"LD18","g_eventkey":"4","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"33665","g_title":"Wenemies -- The Weapon Enemy Simulator","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"166","g_commentcount":"6","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1653-shot0.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Requires pygame -- bundled with windows executable, but not with source or Python Egg\r\n\r\nNote: I didn't try jam 'cause I expected school to start today.
