Sometimes I got a notice that the ammo I had selected was unusable, and I wasn't really sure what I could do about that, so maybe adding onto that message what is required to use the ammo would be good. Otherwise I quite liked it. I see the link to your source code there, but you might want to include it as an official link labelled "source" just for the sake of clarity."},{"author_name":"Jamin","author_uid":"2356","time":"Aug 23, 2010 @ 5:53pm","epoch":1282585680,"text":"Gives me a weird complaint about not having OpenGL 2.0 and exits. For a post-compo version, I'd probably try changing the gun parts to be regular powerups or something you can change between levels maybe? Of course that wouldn't have fit the theme, but might make more sense otherwise. I was mostly just grabbing whatever I could whenever I was out of ammo or my barrel was broken or something. Also I did use the suck beam to kill some enemies when I didn't have a working gun."},{"author_name":"Jerm","author_uid":"518","time":"Sep 5, 2010 @ 4:09am","epoch":1283659440,"text":"It was cool trying out all the different weapon types, especially when you end up with rapid-fire rockets and just destroy everything. The enemy AI could probably use some work, most of the time they were harmless and sometimes you would get completely swamped and couldn't do anything about it. I never felt like I could choose which weapon types to use and just kept sucking up enemies until I had a good gun type (not necessarily a bad thing)."}],"images":["ld18\/1875-05a6872d0b8d0680a71068b35d259b65.jpg","ld18\/1875-bae800c1c9f31fd21d9a710923771ad2.jpg","ld18\/1875-b78d462bb942b0ecaaf0ebfa9dbb95fd.jpg","ld18\/1875-8a9b9b3bb397927abe151550dfb6b411.jpg","ld18\/1875-a4f22dcd3bdcfe8bd936078516d191b3.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/www.mandible-games.com\/release\/ChassisCommander-1.1.exe","text":"Windows Installer"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.mandible-games.com\/release\/ChassisCommander-1.1.zip","text":"Windows Zip"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.mandible-games.com\/release\/ChassisCommander-1.1.dmg","text":"OS\/X"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.mandible-games.com\/release\/ChassisCommander-1.1.tgz","text":"Linux"},{"url":"http:\/\/www.mandible.net","text":"Website"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"33545","g_author":"1875","g_event":"LD18","g_eventkey":"4","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"33575","g_title":"Chassis Commander","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"37","g_commentcount":"12","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1875-shot0.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1875-shot1.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1875-shot2.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1875-shot3.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/22150\/1875-shot4.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"CHASSIS COMMANDER!\r\n\r\nMarooned on an unknown planet!\r\n\r\nCHASSIS COMMANDER!\r\n\r\nHis only weapon, a hoverbike with a malfunctioning weapon!\r\n\r\nCHASSIS COMMANDER!\r\n\r\nBesieged by a million unstoppable robots!\r\n\r\nCHASSIS COMMANDER!
