Had a lot of fun with this little game.

Not particularely fitting the theme, and I was hoping for an end, but the readme smashed my dreams.
Nevertheless, it's a fun game and quite solid. And that's where the cake's at.

Nice! The graphics are much better than they look in the screenshot because of the psychedelic pulsing. Loved that and the transitions. Fitting music, too. I feel like I did drugs. The gameplay was pretty sound, except: Sometimes the game would be slow (lots of on-screen particles I guess) and then all of a sudden get much faster, which I think was not intentional, and is pretty disruptive when you're doing a bullet hell dance. The aliens are really dumb, always shooting right at you, so if you sit near the edge of the screen, then when the bullets get near you you can pop off to the other side which is always clear. Since the rounds are short, this almost always lets you clear the round without much danger.

I didn't have time to correctly implement deltatime, so the gamespeed is FPS dependant, sorry about that. And yes the enemies are rather unintelligent!

No cheats im sorry :( But as Tom 7 you can sit in the border of the screen and hop on the other side to dodge enemy bullets, yeah they aren't really that good at aiming.
