Could have used in-game instructions, since I didn't even know that I could run or throw shirukens until after I closed the game and saw the RTF. Would have preferred to be able to use arrow keys, especially when running, since otherwise all the controls are on one hand. I found it a little frusterating that enemies could both see and shoot through what otherwise looked like walls.  It would also be interesting to see the space\/area that the enemies can detect you in.
