Clone Wolf by jarnik
CONTROLS:
LEFT / RIGHT - walk
SPACE - jump
X - clone
Z - attack
According to the LD20 theme, "It's dangerous to go alone!", therefore our hero gets a special magic item from a village elder.
Upon using the item, the copy of the hero appears. The funny part is, that the magic item itself is copied, as well.
This way you can make your copies in an exponential manner.
The maximum limit of hero copies is 64, there are 9 levels (procedurally generated).
Enjoy!

Variety of geaphics is decent for 48h.
The main thing is challange and balance. It needs work in that aspect but the idea is awesome! It is kind of like playing Jamie Madrox(Multiple Man) from the comics.
Controls felt a bit uncomfortable to me for some reason, but I could get a handle on them with practice.
Gratz on clearing the LD!
I did have a problem with the Z/X-controls, as in "german keyboards have Y and Z exchanged", and I had to make some unconfortable hand-movements.
The player movement was a little stiff, and the action a little repetitive. But in overall I liked it. It has a nice premisses for a bigger game.
I found it annoying the way that attacking works. You have to time it just right to kill multiple enemies and his sword does not reach that far from his body so it's difficult to gauge when you will hit. I didn't manage to get past the third level before I gave up.
I really like the music and graphics. Also like the fact that you made a whole slew of enemies and procedually generate the levels, gives quite a lot of variation.
Good work!
Awesome graphics. Gameplay got a little repetitive, but the concept/story is fun.
The updated non-compo version seems a bit more frustrating, between enemies coming up behind you and having to charge the coin.
Good stuff!
