the Child by Dark Acre Jack
Just a routine graveyard shift at the old research hospital, until something goes horribly, horribly awry.
Directional keys to move, mouse clicks to interact.
Running is possible, but uncomfortable.
Do it for the children.
Edit : the 'Web' build may load slowly due to server overload. In the event of such an unfortunate occurrence, please use the Kong link, as the build is identical there.
Edit 2 : Cleaned up the links a bit, the Windows/OSX/Source links are all available from the Web link page, under the 'Download Links' section. Replaced with Walkthrough, Timelapse, and Twitter links.

I was taken completely aback by the graphical style of this thing, and the first time I used the object I nearly fell off my chair - had the perfect timing of a horror twist :)
Congrats on finishing LD48!
Awesome cutscene and setup though!
Nice game.It feels very "complete". Also bonus on the atmossphere. It is truly one of the most uncomfortable ones I ever played in. The voices sell it :-)
Sound was rather maddening though (I would prefer the suggestion of an alarm instead of an actual, alarm. The sound is rather alarming!)
Over all pretty cool entry!
PS (TakeThisTriangle now has a windows port :P http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-20/?action=rate&uid=1129 )
for some reason reminds me of Twinsen's Odyssey.
Only negative I've got is that I got the impression (possibly incorrectly) that I couldn't die / fail, which stole from the tension a bit...
Completely agree with all the feedback, it's all fair and I'm glad that no one had a really terrible experience with it. Apologies for the links not working for the first little bit, but my net provider's a bit dodgy.
@Lingmops In this version the doors all lead to the same place, but the framework is coded for them to go anywhere.
@mwest You can die, I didn't have much time to tune difficulty levels so it's set to 'easy'. Expect a stronger range of challenges in the next version.
An improved and expanded version of this has become the main project for Dark Acre, and I hope you'll all come round and give it a go when it's ready for release.
Thanks again for all the kind words and support, and I hope you all had as great an experience with your own projects. Keep building!
Excelsior!
