Thank You Hobo by Chris Zamanillo
You wander unarmed into a zombie infested graveyard, but lucky for you there's a strangely well stocked hobo that let's you use his weapons. He is also very undecisive, as you will learn right away.

Will have to check back later and play it though, because it looks intriguing!
One thing that I had difficulty with was the fact that I kept getting stuck in the environment, like on a gravestone or something like that.
Frame rate is variable and properly scaled by elapsed time since last frame, so it should run the same on all machines.
Here are some reasons:
It has a very polished feel despite the bugs.
I think the graphics and the sound fit perfectly.
The animations are awesome.
Stuff I didn't like:
The bomb weapon is kind of difficult to use.
The shotgun doesn't feel 'shotgunny'.
Weapons change suddenly, which is ok in most cases but if you are using a regular weapon and suddenly get a rocket luncher than you're doomed.
Good game overall, one of my favorites so far.
Not a fan of the bomb gun, but that didn't stick around too long.
Collision was a bit harsh, I wonder if a player health system would make this a little more enjoyable? All in all, solid entry.
The sudden change of weapon fits perfectly into the story frame of the crazed hobo. The bomb launcher fit perfectly in that regard, too, I though. The weapons should vary from overpowered to conventional to downright pointless.
Dig it :D Excellent execution only missing a graveyard musical theme of sorts, perhaps in up-beat reggae style?
Cool game. Indeed it hat a lot of super crate box there. But it was so damn hard. I was being eaten by the zombies immediately on touching. That sucked cause I really am bad at those games. Especially on a touchpad laptop having problems with the shooting. Nice though. I like
I liked the art style and the moving/shooting. The clouds gave it a nice feel.
My only niggles were that Zombies look like they need to be slightly closer before they should kill you (looked like it worked on some kind of collision detection? Which didn't feel right if you hit a zombie above you in my opinion) Otherwise all it's missing is a good chip tune to play along with it :)
It took me back to my days of playing Oregon Trail and hunting zombies for food.
Very cool little game - I quite liked the art style and the old hobo was funny! :P
Yeah the collision mask should be a bit smaller than the character sprite. Maybe also have a health bar? (for fun, get some crunchy noises for when the zombies bite you)
The weapon change happened a bit too quickly, like just as i got used to a weapon, the hobo came and changed it. Maybe you could justify the weapon change, if the player had limited amount of ammunition?
Anyways good job, this was inspirational. I just Installed Construction and have been going through tutorials, and now i want to make something like this for practice :D
