Entertaining little game :D You should centre the phone and add a little colour though. Didn't get much of the theme either.

The game has a nice idea but was a bit short and linear... I don't know what I could have done wrong ;-)

Anyway, good work!

Clever dialogue and fun take on the visual novel genre. Linearity, as is often the case in this genre, is a bit of a downer and the theme is very hidden.

The interface was great. Clever interpretation of shapeshift. I hope you expand on this!

Enjoyed it, good work! :) When replaying, being able to skip the cutscenes would be awesome.

this is definitely a unique take on the theme! it was a bit short and linear, but i did like how i never really knew what i was actually about to say after i clicked on an option, haha. keeps me on my toes :-0

Very clever twist on the theme! Game is also quite out of the norm, even within the visual novel genre. I just wish it was a bit less linear.

On the other hand, dealing with all that text must have been a pain to set up using Unity Canvases. XD

Thank you to everyone who has played my game so far! I really appreciate the feed back. If I haven't played your game yet I will make sure to play it before the weekend is over.

@varuns Thanks for the suggestions, I am trying to think of ways to make the phones look more interesting.

@fabraz Yeah, I realize a lot of people get upset at linearity. If I expand on this I will definitely add more possible paths and endings.

@danoli3 HECK YES!

@ciodavinci Thank you! :D I am definitely considering expanding on this.

@blinry great suggestion, now I just have to figure out how to make that work.

@Red_Fan games Uhhh...

@cakeknuckles thank you!

@TeamScripta thank you! I'm glad to have made a game with some humor.

@Flygamer101 Thanks!

@abcdef65g Thank you. I haven't played very many visual novels so maybe that helped? Yes, the code for this is a NIGHTMARE! Starts out horrible in chapter 1 and gets slightly better for each chapter. Hopefully I can figure out a much more efficient way to do this.

@tomlum thank you! I knew this game had to have sound for it to be any fun.

@UltraRat Glad it made you laugh.

@katekligman Thank you! :D

@siryakko Did you get to Chapter 3 and did you lie and say you were Dave? The theme is meant to be you "shapeshift" into someone else when you switch phones and say that you are Dave from Bungie.

WOW... excellent take on the theme... not generic/cliche at all :) kudos to that!
The story carried this game, sick!! i love it.. fun in its own way as u explore through the story ... solid entry!

So... the phone shapeshifts? Haha

Interesting experience. It's definitely unique.
It is kinda unpolished, but it probably helps in the humor aspect, so that's a plus.

Good job!

Interesting game, I didn't really get the story at first. More story paths would encourage multiple playthroughts. I'd also work to make the story a bit clearer.

Nice idea, reminded me a lot of Emily is Away... but I didn't get the story even after my second playthrough.

unique and interesting! really not think that could use this viewpoint to expand/built this topic,so innovation,really think there need more game like this, short and sweet/pithy,also full of realistic meaning and the intension of the daily life >u< well done Dmitrix~!

@Green Soda Thank you! :D

@MatMortatti it's meant to be that you the player shape shifts if you choose to pose as Dave from Bungie. You shape shift from "Todd" to "Dave". It's kind of meant to demonstrate how easy it is to use technology to be someone you're not. Anyways, thanks for playing! I hope to polish this game up for a postLD.

@AnaGF Yes, it's based off two friends of mine. I'm interested in non-fiction through games since there aren't many.

@Bobsleigh Yeah, I noticed after watching some people play that the story can be confusing. I will try to improve that.

@Jupiter_Hadley Thanks for playing Jupi! I really appreciate it. Since this is an online Jam I don't get to watch a whole lot of people play my games.

That was strange in a good way, the sponge bob bits come out of nowhere, although I am not sure if it's against the rules to include them in there. And I didn't see the connection with the theme.

@Digitaldude555 Thanks for playing! You must be the 50th. The Jam rules say it's not recommended but it's allowed. If I get the chance to make a postLD version of this I would probably take them out.

Not really understund where is shapeshifing in this game, but still fun.

Yeah, it's alright. Pretty funny. Solid except the 'cutscenes' should be skippable. when I replayed to get a new ending, the (albeit short) waiting annoyed me.
