Better You Than ME! by lingmops
There's no sound, I had a rather poor attempt at it with about an hour to go and decided it was better off without.
I also didn't get to squeeze in receiving the cloning device at the start, so the theme only half makes sense in context. The set up is, you have been given a device that allows you to clone yourself to help you over come danger. That's the tie in there.
The game is a run-for-as-long-as-you-can-em-up.
Control passes to the furthest clone to the right.
Tip: Clone at the top of a jump to get further.
Used: Flash/Flixel, Photoshop, and that's about it. I slightly hacked Flixel to allow smooth transition between clones, so if you recompile from source you won't see that happening.
I'm going to put some work into a finished version outside of the competition, I think it'd be a shame not to.
Will write up more later... need sleep now, it's very late here in the UK :)

I loved how the bears chased everyone =)
If the procedural generator is tweaked I can see this as a funner Canabalt (there, I said it).
Congrats on clearing the LD48!
(Spoiler? -- It's definitely a bit buggy at the moment, if you hold down "up" and "right" and mash "clone", you can survive indefinitely without needing to react to what's on screen)
I never felt sure if pressing the clone button would actually do anything or not, I am assuming because there was a timeout on the cloner that I was running into. Could do with more feedback there.
Concept is great but the gameplay isn't quite there yet. I don't think you're far off something excellent though.
From the graphics - which to me almost embody the spirit of the styles flixel was built for - to the smooth and hectic gameplay, a very polished piece of work. The theme tie-in was perhaps somewhat freely interpreted, but I could see where you were going with it and it seemed to fall together nicely.
Both thumbs up. Make sure to finish it, I need something to spend thousands of hours simply trying to score in :)
Very cool concept and execution. Some of the transitions were somehow timed spectacularly, and the effect was quite elating. Unfortunately I am not very good at twitchy games, and I didn't make it very far even after a few tries.
While audio is lacking in general, the most important sound missing is that of the clones left behind dying gruesomely and with spiteful curses.
A few more obstacles that discourage clone spam would be a really nice add.
With a little polish(and fancy music) this would totally be up there with Robot Unicorn and Canabalt.
