Congrats on clearing the LD48!
I think you succeeded very well at your Filmation engine imitation, because the game reminded me of Alien 8, which Wikipedia says was also built with Filmation!
The only complaint I have is the controls - they felt weird (felt like it was rotated 90 degree to movement, but that may just be mental short-circuit on my part) and I got killed numerous times going from room to room due to lag holding down a button and lagging on loading.
Solid little game, however some of the spike jumps are really borderline hard.
@mwest... thank you, Alien 8 was the second Filmation game so for me your comment is a great compliment.
Regarding controls you are right, it should have at least two options I will implement that in a second version
@randomnine the robots use a left-hand rule or right-hand rule. they should spin in the direction of the rule, but I couldn't implement it on time.
