Playigitx is proud to present The Bachelor's Escape!

John McPlayer has risen to fame and fortune. Will he be able to escape from the clutches of all girls worldwide?

Arrows (or W/A/D) to move.
Space to use ugliness potions, for a brief relief.
While ugliness is in effect, you are kind of evil, so you may steal girls' money.

IT MAKES SENSE, TRUST ME.

Have fun!

Bugs:
- Sometimes (rarely) the game freezes. Sorry.

Pretty hilarious concept, although if you have no ugliness potion you're guaranteed to get tackled by the swarms of ladies -- there's no good way to avoid them.

Amazing instruction page. Really funny mechanics - kind of like a demented platformer version of pacman. The controls could have been a little more solid, and the death screen could go by faster, but I'm loving the concept.

Funny idea, really annoying audio :) (and slow game over screen)

Not the biggest fan of being tricked into an inescapable pit.

I thought the audio was less annoying than advertised. The rarer sound effects (win, lose, etc.) were great.

I really love the single-mindedness of the gamestate (johnfn's likening of it to pac-man was spot on). But because it's on a platforming course, there were some interesting patterns and strategies.

Really well done, especially for a first-platformer-ever. good work man!! Looking forward to future yonigames.

I agree about the pac man feel, its like the power pill and munch ghosts vibe. Pretty off the wall, I like it! :-)

On the first level, there are a part where you can't jump high enough to leave the pit. I guess you used the sprite's rect as collision detection, because there was a lot of times that I lost but there was a clear gap between the player and the girl. And, sometimes, the sound got somewhat annoying, but I guess this is what would be on the real world :-)

However, having said that, I liked this game. As the others pointed out, I though this was a platform pac-man in a very humorous set up. Well done!
