Tetts escape! by zoral

You need http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=20914 (XNA 4.0 REDIST) installed for it to work.

This is my first ludum dare and my first game ever.
It's not really completed and there are lots of bugs(especially with collisions :)). However, I had fun while doing it!

I couldn't run this on my laptop even after downloading the xna lib. I'll try later on my desktop.

Even with XNA installed the game crashes on both my computers (running Windows XP). :(

Reminds me of the 8-bit days of my childhood :). With a little more work it could be a really cool retro throwback game ^^

Good job on completing your first game! I might suggest reading up on some platformer physics, lots of great tutorials out there on the web.

Can't run it; the same problem triplefox and Edsploration have.

Congrats on making your first game! One big and probably easily fixable thing I noticed was that you are applying a constant velocity rather then acceleration due to gravity. Also if you could also get the skeletons shooting back at the player I think this could be pretty fun.

Better luck next time. Not bad for your first game, pretty bad otherwise. Collision bugs and flying character... What I kinda liked was design of the levels seemingly forcing you to think before you drop down more, if it was intended, good idea, but would need more refinement.
