Very cool theme and graphics. Love how you can damage only certain thrusters depending on how you collide with items. Good job.

Being written by a guy who calls himself "whiletruefork", how could this NOT be awesome? Surprisingly though, it did not cause excessive lag or crash my computer - very misleading and disappointing ;-)

good fun! I found it really difficult though, especially with the thruster damage mechanic. I couldn't escape!

the damage is a great idea, I just wish it didn't cripple you *as* much, since I'm really clumsy and impatient I hit a lot of stuff :D

Beautiful graphics and style, very well done. Losing entire thrusters is just way too punishing, though. Still, quite fun!

I love the graphic style, and the sound and music worked perfectly for the game. But I have to agree, the thrust controls felt rather unforgiving, I got 200k after a few tries though, so it's still fun, but still too unforgiving for me to feel like trying again and again until I can beat it.

This is really nice (I love how everything's on wires) but I agree that the thruster damage mechanic is a bit too punishing.

Very good game, although controls might be a little more responsive, game could be played faster then. Nevertheless, this is really good. Congrats!

Awesome graphics, awesome idea with the thrusters, basically everything everyone already said.

Very good presentation, both audio and graphics and old cartoons imitation or something.
Hmm sadly its kind of too slow for my taste... Makes it little bit less fun for me.

I liked the wires holding everything up, but the ship seemed a little slow to respond to commands.

I love the old sci-fi asthetics. Nice!

I found this extremely difficult but I absolutely love the retro sci-fi thing, the wires are a lovely touch.

Thanks for the comments, everyone- in the more polished version, full release version I am working on, I've granted thrusters two hits (and given them bounce-back so you don't plow your ship through an asteroid and lost have your maneuverability in one fell swoop as often). That's the magic of LD48, I suppose- there's probably no better showcase of designer fallacy difficulty level issues.
