Good way to play off the fear of the dark, but the level doesn't reset after you die. I ended running out of bombs, because I didn't use them correctly.

Not a fan of the light mechanic. It seems a bit arbitrary and is frustrating at times. Still overall good game.

The gameplay is really fun and I found it original, however the levels should restart with all the bombs otherwise one could end up stuck (as I did...)

I beat it. I thought it was cool and innovative but only ho-hum on the fun level. The graphics are pretty nice but I didn't think the lights looked good, blocky as they were. The blockiness didn't fit the rest of the graphics.
The sound is atrocious, especially the sounds the monsters make.
My biggest gripe, and it may sound dumb, is the different passage types. I didn't like always having to think, "Wait, do I push F here or R?" Also, if you place a bomb and leave the level you lose the bomb. I felt like I'd enjoy the game more if the bombs just weren't a part of it.

Yeah, if I had managed to work faster I would have smoothed the lights more and took the time to get better sound effects out of sfxr.
Running out of bombs shouldn't make you get stuck, as I designed the game to never require bombs to progress, only to get certain powerups or to skip keys. Bombed objects should also stay gone if you re-enter a screen. Did I miss something?
Doesn't really manifest itself too much in a game this short and simple, but I like it when a game offers several solutions to a problem, and that was my motivating factor behind being able to bomb most doors.
Looking back on it, I probably should have made doors open with a key simply by touching them...

apart from the problem with the bombs, this is a nice little game.

The dark areas were a bit of a strain on the eyes, but I suppose that if I could see them perfectly they wouldn't be dark anymore.

Nice little game which noone should underestimate.
But I have problems with the bomb too. First, running into the explosion after the Boom shouldn't kill me (it doesn't feel natural). Second, it's sad that you lose the bomb if you die and the bomb was ticking on the floor.
But overall nice work!
