Virus Upload by Retroid

This game involves a virus being uploaded to a computer and infecting it. You must do it before the owner of the computer presses Escape and cancels the upload. The game has a few errors in grammar on the title page, and possible other places as well. I could not finish the game, but at least I learned a lot and next LD, I will be ready to make a better game, with more levels!

The cutscene in the beginning was too slow/uninteresting... I actually couldn't get past it? It never advanced? Not sure what's wrong.

So about the cut scenes being slow and such (or too fast), that is because I was stupid and forgot that the game would run differently on different computers.

A neat idea, but sadly let down by a lot of technical issues. For me, the intro to the game ran very slowly, and it just hung on the 'uploading virus' screen for a *long* time. Also, it repeated quit back to the menu screen on me - I'm not sure if this was supposed to be the 'user' pressing the escape key? If so, it would be nice to have a countdown timer or something, and it would be nice if you could just restart the level rather than whole game! Enough of my whining though, I like the concept behind it.

While the idea (although it's just variation on snake) might be made to some interesting game with some levels, right now it fails to deliver. And the Virus loading... screen is... almost made me think that this is another of the "games" press escape to win.

Cool game; more levels would be great; cutscene is slow and dull; loading takes forever;

More levels please =)

Painfully slow cutscene whenever I die; loved the puzzle mechanic though! It's a fun game.
