Red-Line to Shady Grove by alect
I based this game off of a scene from the movie "The French Connection" (see if you can guess which one).
The purpose of the game is to lose your pursuers by getting on a train without them following you. I had a lot of fun creating some of the more chaotic train stations for the later levels.
This is my first Ludum Dare and it was a lot of fun. I hope you like my game.

I like the twist of how the agents don't want to catch you but want to follow you on the train, however I would sometimes stay in front of a door and I couldn't go in.

This is really creative - exemplifies the theme almost perfectly!

A very solid entry, I liked using the pedestrians to shove the agents around the map.

Interesting concept, looks decent and plays well. Figuring out that timing is the most important thing does tend to make the game a lot easier though.

God game, quite a few levels, there's audio and decent graphics. And it's fun, on top of that! What would I want more? Congrats!

Good game, but annoying that I have to click for next level, when the rest of the game is keyboard controlled

Pretty original, nice retro arcade feel, I would love if it had some music and also I didn't like that you had to use your mouse to go to the next level, a key press would've been much better. But, pretty awesome! Cheers! :D

Interesting entry. I also liked how the agents just wanted to follow you on the train, meaning you were free to do whatever you wanted to lose them rather than directly avoid them. Nice variety in the levels. A key press to advance levels would be nice as well. I enjoyed this a fair bit. Great work!

This is one of my favorites. It's really creative and actually matches the theme really well, and you did an awesome job of slowly introducing game elements in a fun way without any text. Really nice job.

By the way, you're a DC guy, aren't you? I used to live just down the street from Shady Grove! Now I live near Silver Spring. You should sell this game to WMATA, haha!

This is a really good entry, lacking only better sound design and music to be a 5 star for me.

Nice. I'm kind of disappointed about the lack of tactics... I won most levels by just standing right next to the train doors and waiting until they were about to close.

I think you should probably remove the fact that you have to press your mouse button to continue and instead make it any key. The game was really original, but sometimes I felt like there wasn't a real tactic. It does have the possibility to turn into a really cool game :)
