EscapeOut by David S. Gallant
Made in FlashDevelop with Flixel. It's your average Breakout clone. Or is it?
This is not only my first ever Ludum Dare entry, but also my first game coded from scratch. I've previously used Stencyl to develop game prototypes. EscapeOut itself is more prototype than game: given time, I could improve it by adding sounds, a timer, powerups, and better visual cues. Still, I'm very proud of what I've produced. I hope you enjoy.

:D
I noticed at the beginning when I thought I'd lost that there is no way to lose...and it clicked in my head when the top layer turned out to be blocks. Very clever.
Marach - sorry about that, I'm a bad blogger and an even worse comment-checker. I'm not sure if it's too late to blog, but I will try.
