A pretty standard platformer about a vampire whose home has been invaded by a floating orb of light. Get to the bottom of the disturbance so you can finally get some sleep.. and goodness don't we all need sleep after Ludum Dare?

Source is the .cap file (Construct Classic) in the zip.

Requires:
DirectX 9c. (Even if you have DirectX 11.)

Not really fitting all that well. The explanations disappear too fast which makes it hard to understand what is going on. There was something cool here but the rules are hard to understand.

I had no idea how to control my guy so I kept dying.

The game felt kind of all over the place. Not much of the HUD was explained, and I wasn't sure how to kill enemies. Got stuck on the second level. Liked the music though.

There's a tip in the readme file that should make things a lot easier. What about the controls are confusing or difficult?

At first I was also somewhat confused by the controls. Specially when I fell and the game didn't restart. Using the wings is difficult because I don't know when they are going to worn off.

The music was very fitting.

Thanks, I forgot to put that in the readme. I didn't auto-restart (press 'R') because you can scan the level left and right after a fall death.

I liked the music and the sound effects showed promise as well, but I just couldn't figure out how to play this one without reading the comments. I think with some additional polish (better introduction to controls, etc.) this could be a good game.

Failed the first level. Couldn't figure out what to do. Controls are quite unforgiving and falling into a pit didn't kill me. I had to restart the game.
